  • What is a think tank?
    A think tank is an organization that conducts research and engages in advocacy in areas such as social policy, political strategy, economics and military or technology issues. Most think tanks are non-profit organizations, which in some countries such as the United States and Canada are provided with tax exempt status. Other think tanks are funded by governments, advocacy groups, or businesses, or derive revenue from consulting or research work related to their projects. A few have endowments.

    What does NASAQ work for?
    NASAQ is beyond a think tank, it’s a humanistic thinking and a sustainable development platform. It is dedicated to developing, fostering and advocating Human Development Ideas; spearheading, reinstating the Wisdom Age; and fostering and implementing Humanism domestically, regionally and globally.

    Who runs NASAQ?
    Currently the founder and the president of NASAQ, Dr. El Mostafa Higazy, who established the “Termini Context Thinking” school of thought, and theBoard of Trustees along with the executive committees of initiatives, centers and institutes.

    Where does NASAQ exist?
    It’s located in Heliopolis, Cairo, Egypt.

    Do I have to be an Egyptian to be part of NASAQ?
    No, NASAQ is open to anybody who embraces the humanistic approach.

    I am thinking about starting a think tank. What is my first step?
    NASAQ strives to provide personal assistance to individuals who are starting institutes that promote values of humanistic development through their economic, political and social research: values of freedom, justice and dignity.
    In addition to these advisory services, NASAQ works on developing several products that should help interested parties in the beginning stages of their institute.
